the earth

today i saw a picture
of earth bare feet
i leaned over her
to feel heart beat

her eyes were sleepy
and breath was slow
i saw her yawn
and felt her dreams

she told me to laugh
and learn and play
for she wanted me
to grow always

mirage

reflections of my thoughts
and images on sand
nothings stays like time

sukoon

ek pal mila sukoon ka
phir se bikhar gaya
bhikhra magar khanak si
aawaz kar gaya

us goonj mein shamil hai
awaz meri bhi kuch
ek aah bhi, hansi bhi
khamoshi ki wajah bhi
ek dhadkan mere dil ki
aur shor si sada bhi
kuch lehren samandar ki
pani ka saans lena
bujhte hue dhuene mein
ek lau ka tham ke chalna

har taraf ek halchal
ek aahat zindagi ki
in salwaton mein shamil
zindagi ki sargoshi

ye sukoon hai bas talash
zindagi ki justajoo hai
jo kho gaya samandar
jo paya tishnagi hai

A Poem by Emily Dickson

A Book

There is no frigate like a book
To take us lands away,
Nor any coursers like a page
Of prancing poetry.
This traverse may the poorest take
Without oppress of toll;
How frugal is the chariot
That bears a human soul!

wireless dreams

Time is strong...
stronger than our will.
It flows on wings.
and rests on sleep.

It bends with storms.
like soft branches of trees,
and ruins the world's
favorite treats

I thought once I could
just like time.
hold you forever.
in my thoughts

but I was astonished.
on my own thoughts
When I knew that
Embracing isn't all.
It's a wireless dream.
the true connection
which binds us all
in a circled wall
The doors remain open.
not to step out,
but to let the air in.
and waves and calls

Now it's so real and
feels full of life.
I can sense the world.
in a breath of return.
just like a wave.
which touches the sand
It's a wireless dream.
to return to begin
